Privacy Policy

Odla Limited ("Odla", "we", "us") is a company registered in New Zealand. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you use odla.com. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

  • Forms. When you use our contact form, creator (UGC) application form or Amazon advertising audit form, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address, company, website or store link, and your message.
  • Chat assistant. If you use the chat assistant on our site, we process the messages you type so it can reply.
  • Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our site. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your device and browser, and your approximate location. It uses cookies to do this.
  • Security checks. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from spam and abuse. It checks your browser and device signals to tell people from bots.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, review your application, prepare and send your audit and follow up about it, improve our website, and keep our site and forms secure. We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our website and business:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts our website, runs our spam checks and delivers form submissions by email
  • Google, which provides our email (Google Workspace) and analytics (Google Analytics)
  • the provider of our chat assistant

These providers may store or process information outside New Zealand, including in the United States. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected in a way that is comparable to the New Zealand Privacy Act. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to measure how our site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and emails for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage our relationship with you, and then delete them. Analytics data is kept in line with our Google Analytics retention settings.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. To make a request, email privacy@odla.com. We'll respond within 20 working days.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at https://www.privacy.org.nz.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
