What is Amazon marketplace management?
Amazon marketplace management is the work of running a brand’s Amazon accounts as one operation: catalogue, account health, retail readiness, trading, FBA and Amazon Ads. Odla provides that management for consumer brands in the UK and Ireland, on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.ie, the EU and other Amazon stores. The brand keeps price, stock and promotional decisions.
Which agencies manage Amazon for consumer brands in the UK and Ireland?
Odla serves consumer brands in the UK and Ireland with Amazon marketplace management. The work covers Seller Central and Vendor Central, including hybrid accounts, plus catalogue, account health, retail readiness, trading, FBA and Amazon Ads. The same team runs Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.ie, the EU marketplaces and Amazon stores worldwide.
What does an Amazon agency do that advertising alone doesn’t?
Odla treats Amazon advertising as the step that follows a sound account, not the first one. For brands in the UK and Ireland, buy box control, pricing discipline and reviews come before ads. Catalogue, account health and retail readiness come first, so Amazon Ads, including DSP, support a listing that can convert.
What Amazon marketplace management covers.
Odla can do everything the account needs: catalogue, account health, trading, FBA and Amazon Ads, in one operating rhythm. The scope can be the whole account or a defined part of it.
Account and catalogue management
This includes parent-child and variation structure, product content, and A+ content, also called enhanced brand content. Titles, images and backend search terms have to suit the category and the marketplace. See how Alexa for shopping picks products. The brand keeps price decisions.
Account health and retail readiness
This includes compliance and inventory audits. Packaging, labelling, content and account-health rules differ by category and marketplace. Odla reviews them before a launch, an expansion or a rise in media, and does not promise how long a health issue will take to clear.
Amazon Ads and retail media
This covers Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and Amazon DSP, in one rhythm. Bidding and budget follow stock, margin, catalogue health and organic visibility. See break-even ROAS. Paid search and paid social outside Amazon sit with our performance marketing team.
Trading and promotions
Trading decides which products to push and whether stock can support a promotion. Pricing, inventory commitments and promotional approvals remain with the brand.
FBA and fulfilment
FBA and fulfilment include the hybrid merchant- and Amazon-fulfilled model. Some lines ship through Fulfilment by Amazon and others stay merchant-fulfilled. The brand keeps stock decisions.
Brand protection
Brand protection covers Brand Registry, brand stores, unauthorised resellers and seller support cases.
Reviews and returns
Reviews and returns sit inside the account. Odla reads review patterns, return reasons and listing complaints with account health. The brand keeps product and pricing decisions.
Amazon account management
Amazon account management is the work of running Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts end to end. That covers catalogue, account health, seller support cases, reviews and returns, Brand Registry and brand stores. Odla provides full account management for consumer brands on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.ie, the EU marketplaces and Amazon stores worldwide. The brand keeps ownership of its account.

Amazon PPC and Amazon Ads agency for UK brands
For brands in the UK and Ireland, Amazon PPC covers Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and Amazon DSP, in one rhythm. - For search outside Amazon, see paid search.
Amazon consultant or full-service agency?
An Amazon consultant gives advice. A full-service agency does the hands-on running of the account. Odla provides full account management, or a defined scope, and runs the operating rhythm. The brand keeps ownership of its account. The notice period is 30 days, with no minimum term.
- Discovery. Odla reviews the marketplaces, Seller Central or Vendor Central, the catalogue, account health and the problem to solve.
- Discuss. We agree the scope, who decides, and what the brand keeps, including price, stock and promotions.
- Deliver. We run the operating rhythm and report what changed, what the evidence shows and where data is incomplete.
Amazon listing optimisation
Amazon listing optimisation covers titles, bullets, images, A+ content and backend search terms in the catalogue. This includes parent-child and variation structure and product content. A+ content is also called enhanced brand content. Titles, images and backend search terms have to suit the category and the marketplace. The brand keeps price decisions.
- Packaging, labelling, content and account-health rules differ by category and marketplace, and Odla reviews them before a launch, an expansion or a rise in media.
- If listings are inaccurate or unavailable, account and catalogue work should lead.
Seller Central or Vendor Central (3P or 1P)?
Odla runs both, plus hybrid accounts. Seller Central is the 3P model: the brand sells in its own name. Vendor Central is the 1P model: Amazon buys from the brand and resells. Odla has migrated a brand from vendor to seller. Read Vendor Central vs Seller Central explained.
Amazon in the UK and Ireland.
Odla serves brands in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.ie and the EU stores can share a rhythm without sharing a price, a promotion or a stock position.
Amazon.co.uk
Amazon.co.uk is the United Kingdom marketplace. Catalogue, price, promotions, compliance and stock follow UK demand. Odla runs it on Seller Central, Vendor Central or a hybrid account.
Amazon.ie
Amazon.ie launched on 18 March 2025. Amazon’s announcement is published at Amazon launches Amazon.ie in Ireland. Odla manages Amazon.ie for brands that sell there. Price, promotions, compliance and stock for Ireland stay local.
Running the UK, Ireland and the EU together
The UK, Ireland and the EU can share catalogue structure and one trading rhythm. Price, promotions, compliance and stock stay local. Other Amazon stores in scope follow the same split.
Amazon results.
Each result is labelled with its marketplace.
Blunt, premium umbrellas, on Amazon UK and Amazon DE, FR, IT and ES: average monthly revenue +267% (five months under management vs the four months before). Buy box ownership on core skus from under 60% to near-total. Advertising built from zero at mid-teens total advertising cost of sales.
Synnutra, health & nutrition, on Amazon US: revenue +51.5% and orders +55% in the first quarter under management, year on year.
An unnamed home and personal care brand, on Amazon Australia: vendor to seller, 0 to a mid-six-figure annual run-rate in year one. Advertising’s share of sales from 70% to 54%.
An unnamed listed consumer goods group, in the UK, Ireland and western Europe: over £1m of year-one revenue from the marketplace channel.

How Amazon account management works: discovery, discuss, deliver.
Discovery. Odla reviews the marketplaces, Seller Central or Vendor Central, the catalogue, account health and the problem to solve.
Discuss. We agree the scope, who decides, and what the brand keeps, including price, stock and promotions.
Deliver. We run the operating rhythm and report what changed, what the evidence shows and where data is incomplete.
Full Amazon account management is available, or a defined scope. The brand keeps ownership of its account. The notice period is 30 days, with no minimum term.
Reporting follows the cadence from the account: daily campaign review; weekly and monthly reviews of campaigns, operations and stock; operational meetings twice a month.
Pricing.
Amazon account management from £1,250/month + VAT. Amazon ad spend is paid to Amazon separately. The final fee depends on marketplaces, catalogue size and scope.
Categories we work in.
Food and drink, pet, clothing and other physical-goods brands. In practice, almost any physical product category. See food and beverage and consumer goods.
The team.
Odla’s team of 20 has a combined 150 years of experience.
When an Amazon agency is the right fit.
This fits a UK or Ireland brand when catalogue, account health and advertising sit in different teams, including a launch on Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.ie. Deciding whether Amazon belongs in the route to market sits in digital and marketplace strategy. If listings are inaccurate or unavailable, account and catalogue work should lead.
How success is measured.
Success is read against measures the brand can trust: sales and margin, advertising efficiency, availability, conversion, catalogue completeness and account-health trends. The set is agreed for the engagement. Odla does not guarantee sales, ranking or Amazon’s decisions. Results depend on price, inventory, fulfilment, competition, reviews, demand and catalogue quality.
Who owns what.
The brand keeps the Amazon account, the data, and the price, stock and promotional decisions. Odla recommends and coordinates. New connectors belong with engineering and technology. New assets belong with creative and communications. New measurement architecture belongs with analytics and optimisation.
Relevant experience.
Odla led the design, development and international launch of Pampers Rewards for P&G across 10 countries. The engagement demonstrates the cross-market coordination required when operating rules, teams and local requirements differ. It is not Amazon work. Frequently asked questions.
What does an Amazon marketplace management agency do?
An Amazon marketplace management agency runs the account end to end: catalogue, account health, retail readiness, trading, FBA and Amazon Ads. Odla connects those areas because advertising cannot solve an unavailable product, and a strong listing still needs trading support. Scope depends on the account and the capability already inside the brand. The brand keeps price, stock and promotional decisions.
Do you manage Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.ie?
Yes. Odla manages Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.ie, plus the EU and other Amazon marketplaces worldwide. Catalogue structure and the operating rhythm are shared. Local price, promotions, compliance and stock stay with each marketplace, because those rules differ by store. The brand keeps the commercial decisions on each one.
Do you manage Seller Central, Vendor Central, or both? (1P vs 3P)
Both. Odla runs Seller Central and Vendor Central, plus hybrid accounts that use the two together. Seller Central is the 3P model: the brand sells on Amazon in its own name. Vendor Central is the 1P model: Amazon buys from the brand and resells to the customer. Odla has also migrated a brand from vendor to seller where that structure was the right one.
How much does an Amazon agency cost in the UK?
Amazon account management starts from £1,250/month + VAT. Amazon ad spend is paid to Amazon separately and is not part of the fee. The final fee depends on marketplaces, catalogue size and scope. A full account and a defined scope are not the same engagement, so the fee follows the work.
How quickly can you fix account health issues?
We audit compliance, inventory and listings first and work on the blockers before ads. Odla does not promise how quickly an account health issue will clear. For Synnutra, on Amazon US, compliance was restored in the first quarter under management. That is one recorded example, not a timetable for the next account.
Who owns the Amazon account and the data?
The brand keeps ownership of the Amazon account and the data. Odla works inside the account under the agreed scope and does not take the account over. The engagement ends on 30 days’ notice, and there is no minimum term. Price, stock and promotional decisions stay with the brand throughout.
Should we fix catalogue problems before increasing Amazon advertising?
Usually, material catalogue or availability problems should be addressed before spend rises. An inaccurate, suppressed or unavailable listing gives paid traffic a poor destination. Odla’s review separates blockers from lower-priority improvements so the team can act in a sensible order.
Is Amazon advertising the same as PPC management?
It uses the same core disciplines, including campaign structure, bidding, search-term review and budget pacing, but the context is different. Amazon advertising, including Amazon DSP, connects directly to product eligibility, catalogue quality, inventory, price and organic marketplace visibility. Broader search and social activation sits with performance marketing.
Can you guarantee sales or rankings on Amazon?
No. Odla does not guarantee sales, ranking or Amazon’s decisions. Results depend on price, inventory, fulfilment, competition, reviews, product demand and catalogue quality. We report the dependencies and the limits of the data, and we do not promise a sales or ranking outcome.
